Any help would be much appreciated. My husband has a toenail fungus infection, any remedies? we cant afford the price of stuff in the chemists.?
Try soaking his toes in a hot bucket of some sort and add epsom salt, baking soda, lemon juice and sea salt into the bucket of hot water and just sit there until the water turns cold. The epsom salt will pull unwanted toxins out of the infected area, the baking soda is a water softner, the sea salt removes dead skins cells, and the lemon juice will clean and wighten the toenailMy husband has a toenail fungus infection, any remedies? we cant afford the price of stuff in the chemists.?
dilute some bleach in a bucket and soak the toe. Cut the nail down as far as possible. This might help. probably won't. Or else try looking for stuff like lotrimin in the drug store and try that. I know this is hard to get rid of....

I mention the bleach because that is what I used to do with dogs when their paws got nasty - my vet told me to do it and it worked...might as well try it.

Bleach kills fungus - but make sure to dilute it a lot.
Only useful options are either topical antifungal lacquer or oral antifungals. Both need to be used for considerable periods. Go see your GP and he will prescribe them which will be much cheaper.
Going to see your doctor is the best thing to do he will prescibe the right medication for it, if you dont have that much money you should be able to get free presciptions.
Not being funny but Scholl spray is the price of a couple of beers or cigs or going without one non necessity.
