Toenail fungus- Should I buy medications of go to the doctor.?

What would they do at the doctor?Toenail fungus- Should I buy medications of go to the doctor.?
Really depends upon how bad the toenail fungus is. Over the counters don't typically work on toenails as they can't penetrate the nail very well. So, generally you'd go to a doc for this, especially if it was bad.

At the doctors you have a couple of options.

1. You could take an oral prescription only medication that would get to the root of the problem, but they would check your liver first (simple blood test) as it can cause problems... if you and you're liver are generally healthy, shouldn't be a problem.

2. If you don't want to or cannot take the oral medicine, then there is a type of clear nail polish that you can put on each day for a year... not a hundred percent sure, but I've heard that in practice, this only works on about half the people that use it.

Good luck!

  1. If I were you, you should research on Zeta Clear because it might help you cure your yellowing of the toenails. If you have the time.
