Yeah, I know, wrong category, but anyone know of a home remedy for toenail fungus?

This problem has to have been around forever, and someone must have come up with something. All the websites just want to sell their products. What did your grandmother use.\?Yeah, I know, wrong category, but anyone know of a home remedy for toenail fungus?
Tea Tree Oil with clear it up. You can buy it at Walmart or the drug store.Yeah, I know, wrong category, but anyone know of a home remedy for toenail fungus?
I don't think there is a real product out there OTC that totally gets rid of it. It needs to be treated internally. There are drugs to take that work. My granddaughter has it and takes an RX for 250mg of Lamisil. It is way stronger than their OTC product s and it is working for her. It is quite pricey, though. You should really ask a doctor or even better, ask your local pharmacist. He/she will know and he/she is free!

Oops! I just noticed you said ';home remedy';! sorry! I am sending this anyway in case you don't get a good recipe. Good luck!

soak your feet in warm water and pure tea tree oil
Hi Elisabeth-

First I would go to a podiatrist to have your toenail looked at... It can be more than just a fungal infection, however you want to make sure and secondly fungus infections spread to other nail parts... Second I would soak my foot in a warm water mixture with an all natural Sulfoxide agent (ask your healthfood store) and then I would apply after drying your feet tea tree oil and oregano oil... Of course you will need a base carrier...So basically do it like this-

Olive oil- for your base

add drops of tea tree- about 5 to 7

add drops of oregano- about 3

use a cotton swap to swap the toe nail area.. it will take some time, but it should help....

Good luck
