How did you get rid of your toenail fungus?

I am looking for solutions that have worked for folks. I will be visiting my doctor, but I've heard from some people that their over the counter or home remedies worked even better for them. I have one nail that is effected and it's in the ';early'; stage, but it's clearly a fungal issue.

Thanks so much!!!How did you get rid of your toenail fungus?
I think you should see your doctor, like you said you are. In the mean time try soaking your foot in a tub with some mouth wash and warm water! It really works, ask your doctor about it. Mouth wash is anti fungal and cleans bacterial infections. I do this once a month just to keep my feet smooth and gets rid of all the hard skin! Good Luck! How did you get rid of your toenail fungus?
soak your feet in apple cider vinegar daily for 15-20 minutes

apply Vicks before you go to bed.

i've heard that it's caused by poor diet, so i suggest eating less refined sugars and eat yogurt often (lack of good bacteria in your gut).

here's two articles that describe some other home remedies. I think you should try a combo of 2 or 3.
Bicarbonate of soda has the same effect as any spray or powder your doctor or chemist will give you,1, it is cheaper,2, it doesnt come in funny packaging with a list of ingreadients and instructions so long and small letters that you hurt your eyes trying to read them, and 3, there are no c02 omissions from the spray or wasted cardboard pacaging to dispose of. just put on your feet and shoes after bathing and it will go.
u can never truely get rid of fungus. we all have it, what u have is an overproduction of it. can be slowed by sprays and keeping ur feet dry! use baby powder in ur shoes. and wash frequently...if its really bad, there are oral medications but ur doc wont give it to u due to side effects unless its a severe infections
Get Lotramin cream (Lotramin AF) coat your toes and wrap them with gauze and tape for several hours. It should kill the fungus quickly, although you may need to do this a couple of times.
OK before you go to bed at night you can put Vic's on it and then put socks on. It doesn't go away right away. It might take a week or two
You can purchase cream from Walmart or Walgreens. Easy cure.
you take all of the meds that the doctor prescribed and follow up with the podiatrist when they are gone.
I've heard that tea tree oil helps; but I can't tell you anymore than that. You might want to do a search.................
rub a chicken on it it makes it much beter i tried
anti fungal spray. spray your shoes and foot 3 times daily
